CVEMA
is a group of local government Emergency Managers, working together
to provide all hazards public awareness education and cooperative
planning efforts. Our members provide emergency and disaster preparation
guidance to individuals and businesses within our communities. We
do not have a general CONTACT US page (refer to
the EM Organizations menu for contact info).
This
Association is a nonprofit public benefit corporation and is not
organized for the private gain of any person. It is a nonprofit
501(c)(3) association organized under the Nonprofit Public Benefit
Corporation Law for charitable purposes.

Our
specific purpose is to represent and promote the emergency management
profession, public and private, throughout the Coachella Valley.
This is accomplished through education, research, networking and
a dedication to the protection of life and property. Objectives
include:
Promote
an understanding of natural and man-made disasters, effective
and integrated emergency management systems, accurate, authentic,
and responsible information to the public and building cooperative
relations with other organizations.
Support
effective multi-agency response and recovery during major incidents.
Provide
Association members with the most promising innovations in concept,
design and technologies related to emergency management.
Communicate
Association positions to public and private sector agencies.
